DK Global is seeking a talented Junior 3D Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organizing, managing, and distributing 3D assets—such as models, textures, and animations—to a team of skilled artists. In this role, you will ensure that all assets are easily accessible and effectively utilized within the company. We require someone with a deep understanding of digital asset management principles, as well as specific expertise in navigating the unique challenges of 3D content, including large file sizes and diverse device requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing and cataloging 3D assets: This involves creating a structured system for storing and retrieving 3D models, textures, materials, and other related files.
- Maintaining a digital library: Ensuring the digital asset management system is up-to-date and easily searchable.
- Optimizing assets for performance: Ensuring 3D models are optimized for real-time applications like games or virtual reality experiences, which may involve tasks like polygon reduction or texture optimization.
- Collaborating with artists and designers: Working with 3D modelers, texture artists, and other creatives to understand their asset needs and ensure assets are created and managed according to project requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining naming conventions and file formats: Establishing clear guidelines for how assets are named and organized to ensure consistency and ease of use.
- Providing support and training to users: Assisting team members in locating and utilizing assets effectively.
- Managing asset lifecycles: Tracking the creation, usage, and potential retirement of 3D assets.
- Ensuring quality control: Reviewing 3D assets for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends: Keeping abreast of new technologies and best practices in 3D asset management.
- May perform other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in art, design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling and asset creation workflows: Knowledge of software like 3ds Max, Adobe, etc., and experience with various modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in digital asset management systems: Familiarity with DAM software and its functionalities.
- Excellent organizational and file management skills: Ability to maintain a large library of digital assets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with artists, designers, and other team members.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to 3D assets and workflows.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in asset management.
- Familiarity with various file formats and optimization techniques: Understanding how to optimize assets for different platforms and applications.

Job Type: Full-time (not a remote position)
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Compensation Range: $25-$32/hr. This position will be paid on an hourly basis, and overtime will be compensated for accordingly.
